| Description | in December 2023 Rotem Eylam graduated from the New England Conservatory, where he earned his bachelor’s degree studying with composer Stratis Minakakis and guitarist Joe Morris. Rotem performed with his quartet (Eidson/Abramovski/Dubow/Eylam) around the US performing in places such as Downtown Music Gallery (NY), Rhizome (DC), Century Bar (PA). in the summer of 2023 he had his string quartet performed at the VIPA festival in Valencia (Spain) by the Mivos Quartet. In the same summer and in the summer of 2024 he also taught and performed as a guitarist in Amdor's Group and as a composer at the LUPA festival in Ostrava, Brno (Czech Republic), Slovakia and Poland, and finally participated in International Divertimento Ensemble Academy in August 2024. He also collaborated with improvisers such as saxophonist Tony Malaby and with dancer Maya Botzer-Simhon (Bat-Sheva Dance Company). |
