Description Erkki-Sven Tüür likes to draw inspiration from Rock music, Pēteris Vasks writes music of a beauty that hardly anyone dares to. Is it a cliché to think of northern landscapes here? Mendelssohn's «Italian» provides a geographical contrast. Like Tüür and Vasks, he is inspired by nature - in sunshine and fog, in the south and in the north.
