Program Tapiwa Svosve is a saxophonist and electroacoustic musician who lives and works in Zurich and London. He has released works on Graham Dunning's netlabel Open Sound Group and Raw Tonk Records, and was part of the exhibition ‘The Tomorrow People’ at the Elevator Gallery in 2013. He is particularly interested in the relationships between sound and space, as well as the electronic and/or physical manipulation and abstraction of acoustic sounds, creating various overlapping layers of small electroacoustic systems.

Aya Metwalli is an Egyptian singer, improviser and composer, known for her masterful singing in microtonal Arabic maqam. Growing up in Cairo, she was shaped by a rich tradition of classical Arabic music. After taking her first steps with piano and guitar, she began composing her own music and gained a loyal fan base through online releases. She has been living in Lebanon since 2015 and is active in the experimental electronic and free improv scene. Her music combines Arabic traditions with avant-garde soundscapes, characterised by dark, atmospheric synthesiser textures.
Description Acousmo is a concert and sound art series focused on intentional listening. It offers a space for concentrated engagement with live sound and aims to counter the fast and superficial consumption of music. In this cycle, Acousmo introduces a new format: each evening begins with two solo performances by musicians or sound artists that are curated by the community. These are followed by an improvised set where both artists perform together. The program concludes with DJ sets.
