| Biography | As a symphonic choir and a cappella ensemble, the Zürcher Sing-Akademie has long since earned its place among Europe's professional choirs through its musical and artistic flexibility as well as its inspiring performances. Since its foundation in 2011, the Swiss ensemble can look back on collaborations with numerous top international conductors. By commissioning compositions and premieres, it makes an important contribution to the further development of the choral landscape. Florian Helgath has been principal conductor and artistic director of the Zürcher Sing-Akademie since the 2017/18 season.
