(In English, total duration 3hrs)

“Movement is tradition, an old time tradition. It existed before the lines. It’s what made the lines … meet me at the Stillpoint.”

Beyond the lines.
Between the lines.
Along the lines.
In a line.
What is the line?
Where are your lines?
Who drew your lines?
Where do you draw the line?
Can you draw the line?
Can you erase the lines?
Or do you wish to keep the lines?
Why?
And how does your choice shape your experience of life? Another's experiences of life?
Who are you?
Where are you?
What are you made of?
Do you move?
Are you moved?
Are you removed?
In moving, how do you move?
In long straight lines towards a known destination, away from a defined place and time?
In a spiral, always circling back … everything is the same but different in a different space and time?
In a circle, stuck on a loop?
Or do you skip, stuck, like a needle on scratched up vinyl?
Or are you moving-still,
At The Stillpoint?
Meet us at the Stillpoint.
Where there’s no first.
No last.
No up
No down.
A place beyond the opposites.
Just spaceless.
Spaceless.

What happens to music and lyrics when we choose to create from the Stillpoint, beyond the imposed lines and their confinement of time (History) and space (nationality)?

An Afrofuturistic Storyteller, Sista Zai (Achihera) works with sound as an interviewer and host on community radio and on her podcast, “Life Seen Through A Sista’s Eye”. Sista Zai’s praxis invites deep dialogue, self-reflection and vulnerable exchange. Achihera follows the lead and pace set by each interviewee, practicing deep listening she takes her cues from the tones in the voice, the environment and the energy of the exchange. This listening-based interview practice allows for a new or unheard story to unfold, both on and off the record. In the editing suite, she sometimes adds intentionally placed music, silences and ambient sound to enhance the experience for a wider audience.
