A SPECIAL FEATURE FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS.
The focus is on the SONIC MATTER_village project by artist Manon Fantini. In 2021, the project offered year-round workshops in various community centers in the canton of Zurich for children of the respective neighborhoods. These were dedicated to the auditory exploration of their immediate surroundings and the construction of instruments from materials available on site. At the end of each workshop, the participants formed small orchestras that reinterpreted the sounds they had previously heard and recorded.
Artist Manon Fantini and her guest artists lead us through the ritual of listening and on a walk through the forest and nature with creativity infused children and students.
THE ICE QUEEN AND THE SUN KING (selection) these are radio plays written between 1990-1997 by children aged 6-9 from Hugh Myddelton and Hanover Primary Schools, Islington, North London.
