On the daily menu: a different selection from the broad field of contemporary piano music, rounded out by conversations with the performers. Having time has become a dream of us so called «modern» people: it is not really about more time to live or more leisure time. But just having enough time to work in peace without the pressure of a tight schedule, without multi-tasking, without the pressure of having to be available all the time. So much time, like an open field, whre the view does not hit boundaries. Having time to perceive, to process and to savour events, things and life itself.
The piece is inspired by and the text is partly quoted from Günter Figal’s «Musse als Forschungsgegenstand» (en. «Leisure as Object of Research»)
